    We were told of this hidden gem from a friend of ours and booked the moment we saw the pictures and the outstanding rates for such an amazing private getaway in the outback. Equally as stunning was the drive to Ooramina itself, through unsealed red dirt roads and desert landscapes. We were welcomed by the friendly staff (and super friendly farm dogs) who showed us to our private timber cabin in the desert. We were absolutely stunned by every detail ranging from the beautiful four poster bed and bedside tables made from rocks and trees, to the private barbeque and fire pit just outside our front door. To top it all off we indulged in a delicious home cooked meal made by another of the friendly staff members (Jodie) and they even allowed us to feed their rescue joey! This is perhaps the best accommodation/experience we have ever had and would strongly recommend to anyone visiting the red center.

    Friendly service while enjoying dining at the Homestead, Great wholesome tucker (meals), living up to the origin of the namesake "Ooraminna" meaning "Hot Food" but it's not just hot food it's great food that you encounter, that is second to none. Before retiring to your unique self contained Cottages for a peaceful night.

    Australiana at its best, a hidden gem, quite, picturesque, secluded, tranquil, natural, historic and timeless, relaxing, friendly environment, all at a oneness with nature;

    Location, ambience, hospitality, dog friendly, great food and cold beer. What more do you need? Ideal place for a "get away from it all" holiday. Solitude or company. Your choice.
